I feel like I have been working for a pretty long time on this wedding, but I am so glad that it’s finally here! I get to show off the crazy awesome day that we all had when we were celebrating Dory and Greg’s marriage. On January 16, 2010 Dory Moss was married to Greg Roberts. Though it was a rainy January day outside, that didn’t bring these two down. This has been the smoothest running wedding I have ever taken photos at. Smooth transitions, no nervousness, people were happy and full of joy over this darling couple’s committment to one another. I thoroughly enjoyed shooting with Dory and Greg on their wedding weekend. From the Rehearsal Dinner to the Going Away, this party was a smash! I’m sure you’ll see just how much fun this whole family had by all of the amazing dancing shots we were able to capture. Dory and Greg, thank you for inviting me into your family’s lives to help capture these timeless moments. I hope you truly enjoy reminiscing on these wonderful moments with me. Talk to you all again soon….

I love the graininess of this photo…. kind of old 50’s style photos.

This was a very special moment of the day. Dory gave her father a special pocket watch that she had engaved with her father’s initals on it. Inside, Dory had a photo of her dad’s Father and I remember Dory saying, “Dad, I knew you needed him with you today. He needs to be with you.” Needless to say, from that point on, all three of us were in tears. I realized in that moment that a photographer should never attempt to take photos while her eyes are welling up with tears. This might have been my favorite moment of the day. Special and unforgettable.

This is the first look session… very exciting moment. Right before Dory tapped Greg on the shoulder he said, “This was such a great idea.” lol….!!!! He was so excited to see Dory. So if you’re debating whether or not to go with the First Look Session, remember all of the excitement that you two will experience, if you go with it!

Dory and Greg sat down for a small intimate dinner before they headed out into the party. Not even us photographers were allowed inside. This was a very smooth transition with going from the wedding to the reception. Great idea Greg and Dory! The picture of them looking through the window is right before they came out into the party!!!

Dory and her father had the funnest, sweetest dance together. They didn’t do the regular slow and tear jerking dance, they did a fun and carefree dance together. I loved seeing this father, daughter relationship in action… Dory is definately a Daddy’s girl. ;o)

Probably the coolest bachelor’s cake room I have ever seen. They had a whole bowl full of Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream next to the cake… it was awesome!!!

Check out this sequence of shots. Dory smashes cake in Greg’s face. Greg acts like he’s going to smash it in Dory’s. Greg winds up, and go in for the plunge, Dory ducks and Greg smashes his best man in the face…. couldn’t have planned that moment any better!!!! good times.

The front of the Second Line…. they ’second lined’ all over that place!

The Saints won the game on this night, and this next guest came in style for it! LOVE LOVE L-O-V-E her hairband!
